Objectives:
Added Comments: With your group discuss how Math is evident all around us, in our everyday lives. Prompt student to discuss what they see when they look at the tiles on the floor, at window grates, at roof lines. Tell students that their job is to find examples of geometric shapes in their community. Make sure that student know that they will have to identify and write a brief description of where they found the shape, what it is and why they took t he picture. The images cane be inserted into a Microsoft Word document and the student can then type their responses. Collect the documents in a folder and email them. Further information will be distributed after registration.
