2. Summary of Our Project
“Pinakurat” a Sebuano language which means a sudden surprised. Now a very famous brand name of several innovative, unique and highly regarded food products, foremost is the “Sukang Pinakurat”, spicy vinegar made from pure fermented coconut nectar and spices germane from the farmlands of Iligan City, Philippines. Literally, Pinakurat took everyone by surprise, given how gastronomically nostalgic goodness gets, everyone can’t help to get more of the “Sukang Pnakurat”. Even other nationalities have been amazed by its taste. According to them, “It was exotic, a lip-numbing fire, but it doesn’t linger. It is a world away from the common spiced vinegar, with finger chilies, garlic and pepper. This vinegar had a body it gave a whole new perspective to the dishes and food”. At present, it has been exported to other countries such as US, Canada, Japan, French speaking countries and more. Because of the undeniable success of “Sukang Pinakurat” it had brought hope, livelihood, glory and pride to Filipinos.

4. Problems We Had To Overcome
Our schedules are very hectic. We, as typical students, have a lot of projects to be submitted on time. We also have piles of quizzes to be taken every day and we have numerous extra – curricular activities in and out of the school so we have a hard time in dividing our time but still we tend to conquer these circumstances through time management. It was mid December, when we knew we will participate in the CyberFair and we had no idea what to do. Likewise, we also have poor communication. Since we have Christmas and New Year break, some of us still don’t know about the CyberFair so we communicated via Facebook and through email. Unfortunately, not all of us participated in the said meeting because some of us don’t have an account in Facebook. Thanks to Noraynie she contacted our remaining fellow students and informed them about the CyberFair. Since we started this project in December, we’ve done lots of interviews wherein we also encountered a lot of dilemmas during the interview proper. We had a tough time to communicate and set up an appointment with the people behind the global product. But, despite all the problems we had faced, we relied on the thought of finishing our project and winning the CyberFair.
5. Our Project Sound Bite
We’ve found out throughout this project, “Sukang Pinakurat” lifts the vinegar to the level where its distinct taste is experienced by all. A small taste and dip of “Sukang Pinakurat” with just about anything can bring you a sense of after – delight and lip – numbing fire, but it doesn’t linger. In addition to the insistence on the exotic flavor, what really impresses us most is the nobility of the Stuart Del Rosario Family. We could relate their hardworking and determined spirit from a small micro cottage enterprise to a developing and blooming enterprise. They have once again risen above the trials they went through. Indeed, nothing like family that works together. We hope that many people will strive to be hardworking and determined enough despite all the problems they had to overcome and we also hope that “Sukang Pinakurat” will be further recognize throughout the world.
6. How did your activities and research for this CyberFair Project support standards, required coursework and curriculum standards?
By participating in these contents, these could heighten my skills, my knowledge about other types of software programming, arts, mental capacity and also other things that we have not yet encountered or about to encounter. These new encountered skills have also given us opportunities and also given us fame that we have mastered and known other uncommon skills. The Internet is the most used to people for their educational purposes because this is the most easiest way to access other things.
